Students visit Drayton Manor

A group of Chadsgrove students visited Drayton Manor recently and the trip was funded by Bromsgrove Rotary and the KidsOut charity. The class teacher sent us the following comments:

Our class trip to Thomas Land, funded by The Rotary Club, was fantastic! Most of the children had never been before and they were so excited to go on the rides. The park was quiet, so we managed to get on lots of rides, including the very fast Troublesome Trucks Rollercoaster. Turns out, we have lots of adrenaline thrill seekers in 3LS! We even got to meet some of our favourite characters from Thomas the Tank Engine.

As well as having lots of fun, the trip was a great way to practise skills we have been learning in class, such as waiting our turn (we were very impatient to get on the rides!) and managing ur emotions when we felt a little nervous!

Thank you to Rotary Club for giving us this opportunity.
