Charity Dinner at Maekong Thai
Since 2011 we have held an annual charity dinner at the Maekong Thai restaurant.
The restaurant kindly donates all proceeds for evening and with additional revenue from raffles etc we raise approximately £800 for local and international charities. The dinner is regularly supported by members from other clubs and in particular from Redditch Kingfisher, Droitwich Spa and Handsworth.
In 2013 we had a particularly good event and raised an impressive £1000 for our charity fund. This was eclipsed in 2016 when along with a significant donation from the restaurant we raised over £3000.
